v0.1.2 is the largest update since the initial beta launch. It expands hardware support significantly, brings live device health into the topology map, introduces a full audit trail, and delivers a round of quality-of-life improvements across the board.

🔍 Device Catalog with Smart Search

Start typing a device name — R740, USW Pro, Pi 5 — and Circuit Breaker suggests matching devices from a built-in catalog covering Dell, HPE, Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Synology, TrueNAS, APC, CyberPower, Raspberry Pi, Proxmox, pfSense, OPNsense, Cisco, Juniper, and more. Selecting a match auto-fills vendor, model, rack height, and role. Custom devices are always one click away at the bottom of every result.

💓 Live Device Health

Connect to your hardware’s management interface and see real-time health on the topology map. Supported integrations:

• Dell iDRAC 6/7/8/9 — CPU temp, fan speeds, PSU status, system power draw
• HPE iLO 4/5/6 — CPU temp, fan speeds, PSU watts, health status
• APC & CyberPower UPS — battery %, runtime, load, input/output voltage, temperature
• Generic SNMP — custom OIDs for any SNMP-capable device

Hardware nodes display a live status ring on the topology map once telemetry is configured — pulsing green for healthy, amber for degraded, red for critical. Management credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256.

🏷️ Categories & Environments

The category and environment fields across services, hardware, and compute units are now smart typeaheads. Create a new category or environment on the spot without leaving the form. Manage the full list — rename, recolor, delete — from Settings → Categories and Settings → Environments. Existing values are automatically migrated on first launch.

🚫 IP & Port Conflict Detection

Assigning an IP or port already in use now triggers an inline warning as you type. Circuit Breaker shows you exactly which device or service has the conflict and gives you a direct link to open it — before you ever hit Save.

🕐 Real Timestamps & Timezone Support

Every log entry now shows a real timestamp — relative for recent entries ("4 minutes ago") and absolute for older ones. Hover any timestamp to see the exact UTC moment. Circuit Breaker asks for your timezone during first-time setup and displays all times in your local zone throughout the app. Change it anytime from Settings → General.

📋 Audit Log

The logs panel has been rebuilt into a proper, append-only audit trail. Every meaningful action produces a structured entry showing what changed, who did it, and where the request came from. Entries include a collapsible before/after diff view. Filter by entity type, action, or severity. Nothing in the audit trail can be edited or deleted.

🎨 130+ New Icons

New vendor icons for APC, CyberPower, Raspberry Pi, Forgejo, and Cloudflare Workers. Over 130 new icons added to the icon picker across hardware, network, security, camera, and power groups.

🐛 Bug Fixes

• Fixed custom icons not persisting on network nodes after a map refresh
• Fixed the icon picker rendering behind the right-click context menu
• Fixed the context menu closing before an icon change could save
• Fixed icon_slug being silently dropped when creating a new network node
• Fixed the icon picker not highlighting the currently assigned icon when reopened

⬆️ Upgrading

No action required — all database changes are additive and run automatically on startup. Your existing data is fully preserved.

If you plan to use telemetry integrations, set CB_VAULT_KEY in your environment before restarting to ensure credentials are encrypted and persist across updates. See the documentation for details.
