What’s New

OOBE Improvements

• Locale selection during bootstrap now controls the weather widget and time display.
• Font sizing is corrected across the wizard flow.
• Profile pictures chosen during OOBE now persist correctly after signup instead of reverting to Gravatar.

Audit Log Overhaul

• All audit log entries are now correctly attributed to the authenticated user who performed the action. Previously, some entries defaulted to admin even when a named user was responsible.
• Added audit logging for profile updates and account registration.
• Background system actions (for example, scheduled discovery scans) now attribute correctly to system instead of admin.

Security Fix

• Fixed a Content Security Policy (CSP) issue that blocked profile photo previews when uploading from the profile modal or OOBE wizard.
• The img-src directive now permits blob: URIs, which are required for URL.createObjectURL() previews.
• This issue was not reproducible in local development but affected all Docker-deployed instances.

Multi-Architecture Docker Support

• Docker images now publish for:
  • linux/amd64
  • linux/arm64
  • linux/arm/v7
• Fixed build failures on ARMv7 caused by uvloop and greenlet attempting to compile from source under QEMU emulation.
• These packages are now excluded on armv7l via PEP 508 environment markers since they are non-essential on that platform.

Bug Fixes

• test_utcnow_is_timezone_aware now uses timezone.utc instead of datetime.UTC for Python < 3.11 compatibility.
• test_entity_tables_empty_on_fresh_start now correctly permits the single seeded welcome document on the /docs path.

Upgrade Notes

• If you are on a VPS using the install script, the CSP fix requires pulling the updated image:

  docker pull ghcr.io/blkleg/circuitbreaker:latest && docker restart circuit-breaker

• To simulate a clean install locally:

  make compose-clean && make compose-fresh
